Course Description: C900 Principles of Real Estate Engineering
INSTRUCTOR: W. “Kyle” Ray, P.E.: A native of Beaumont, Texas, Kyle received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1972. Upon graduation, he began his career with Texas Utilities (TXU) in the engineering department in Dallas, Texas. Kyle has held numerous supervisory and managerial positions at TXU including Project Engineering Manager and Land Minerals & Right of Way Manager and Facilities Manager for TXU Energy Trading. Kyle is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Additionally, Kyle is an approved Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Instructor, a veteran IRWA Engineering and Environmental Course Facilitator, past International Professional Development Committee Chair and past President of IRWA Chapter 36, the North Texas Chapter. TXU was acquired by Energy Future Holdings Company in November 2007 and reorganized. Kyle is now engaged in Real Estate and Business Development for Luminant Generation Company, LLC.
