Right of Way Professional Career Path (Specialist)
The Right of Way (R/W) Certification Program offers certification in five right of way disciplines, plus the Uniform Act. Right of Way certification is granted to candidates who have achieved professional status through experience, education and examination in a specific discipline.

2012 CHANGES TO CREDENTIALING PROGRAM – SR/WA Comprehensive Exams & Ethics Requirement for Recertification
INTERIM COURSE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION – R/W-EC
Effective April 20, 2011 additional course requirements and substitute course allowance for current R/W-EC candidates.
Course 602, Project Development and the Environmental Process has been deactivated and replaced with Course 606/606C, The Environmental Process. To meet the number of units required for the certification, candidates must now take Course 902/902C, Property Descriptions in addition to Course 606/606C, The Environmental Process.
This interim requirement shall remain in place until such time as the IPDC and the Environmental Committee can conduct a comprehensive review and propose a formal revision to IRWA's environmental certification program.
Effective July 1, 2011, in accordance with Canadian tax laws, IRWA will begin charging GST/HST on credentialing applications for our Canadian participants. Use the table below to determine the applicable percentage of GST/HST:
