This course provides a comprehensive overview of managing right of way projects from initial concept through final closeout, with a strong emphasis on the role of consultants. Participants explore the full project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing, while developing a clear understanding of scope, schedule, and budget management. The course also examines the consultant hiring process in detail, from pre-selection and solicitation methods to proposal evaluation, contract development, and performance oversight. Through practical examples and case studies, participants will gain the skills needed to effectively collaborate with consultants, assess deliverables, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes in both public agency and private industry environments.
