Important Notes About Our Program
The following provides additional required information about our program:
- There is a Capstone Exam for the SR/WA level only.
Each industry pathway has its own capstone exam. Currently, there is no SR/WA Review Study Session in the new program. Taking the capstone exam through a proctor must be requested after completing all the required coursework for all three levels (RWA, RWP & SR/WA). $100 member/$140 non-member
- RWP and SR/WA coursework must be completed within 10 years from date the first required course for RWP and/or SR/WA was completed. For RWA, there is no time limit or expiration for the required coursework except for the ethics course – 102, 103 or 104 which expire within 5 years from the date of completion. Please see Course Expiration FAQ's.
- All students are required to complete the IRWA Ethics course every 5 years to maintain certification.
- RWP and SR/WA levels require re-certification every 5 years. Re-certification requires successful completion of forty-eight (48) hours (RWP level) and seventy-two (72) hours (SR/WA level) of continuing education from courses/seminars taken no more than 5 years from date of first certification or last re-certification. Please see Recertification Credit FAQ's.
